Google Search App Now on iPhone and iPad
Smartphones and tablets are no longer just a luxury item. They are a necessity as they are used for all sorts of things, from being able to make calls, getting important reminders, for relying on GPS and maps to get to a new destination and to keep your life organized in a variety of ways. The latest addition to Apple's iPhone and iPad is Google Now, which aims to make your devices even smarter.
Google Now is meant to provide you with information you need exactly when you need it. It can provide you with information about the weather for the day as you rise in the morning. It can also inform you of whether there is heavy traffic on your normal commute and if you should consider an alternate route to get to work or school. It also reminds you of when you should leave to catch a flight at the airport, can deliver the most recent and updated news from stories you have been following and much more. With Google Now, you will never find yourself scrambling to find the latest information, and the more you use it, the more you will get from it.
With that being said, Google Now is finally available for the Apple iPhone and iPad. It is a part of the updated Google Search app and strives to make your life that much smoother every single day. You will find yourself relying on the app more and more the more you use it.
In addition to the new features found in the Google Now feature, the Google Search app still provides you with all the answers you need to questions on your mind. It is often considered more reliable than Apple's built in voice assistant feature Siri and works simply by tapping on the microphone and speaking into your iPhone or iPad. Ask a question that's been on your mind and you will receive quick answers that are spoken in response to you. For instance, you may want to ask Google, "Should I take an umbrella when I go out today?" and you will promptly get information on the forecast. Another good example is to ask something like, "Where is the nearest Chinese takeout restaurant?" You will get a quick response. Voice Search is an excellent feature to have while you are out and about as you will not only get spoken responses but can be shown a map of everything you need, complete with directions, phone numbers, ratings and hours open.
